IAAE is a not-for-profit, education and credentialing organization, focused on building workforce capability in Life Sciences digital manufacturing.

Our Audacious Goal

IAAE seeks to credential 10,000 learners globally, and to engage 10 of the top 20 companies in each regulated health industry, by the end of 2035.

Our Life Sciences Advisory Board

The IAAE formed a Life Sciences Advisory Board in 2017 and currently has representation from leaders within Amgen, Biogen, BMS, Catalent, GSK, Lilly, Merck, Organon, Roche, Sanofi, Takeda, ThermoFisher, and Vertex. It was formed to support an ecosystem of like-minded individuals, companies, institutes, and academic partners with a desire to see the industry improve, solving the challenge of workforce development and capability building, too big a challenge for any one entity to solve alone.

The IAAE is a non-profit education, credentialing, and research organization, specializing in digital manufacturing. We offer online, self-paced courses and also run learning programs for Life Sciences companies to help with capability building. Our work focuses on personnel who are either seeking to upskill (Professional Development) in Digital Manufacturing, or wanting to enter the workforce (Workforce Development). To learn more, please feel free to reach out to our team. 

IAAE offers courses covering topics from the basics of automation, to data analytics, model-based biomanufacturing, data integrity, Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity, and much more. Enrollment can be done directly through our website. If you have any issues purchasing courses, feel free to reach out to our team for assistance. 

There are no prerequisites necessary to enjoy any of our courses unless you intend to join a hands-on course at one of our academic partner sites. 

Completion of most of our courses results in the earning of a digital certificate. You can learn more about these certificates on our Credentialing Page. 

Yes, we have three tiers of content subscriptions depending on the size and need of your organization (more details can be found on our Org Subscription page). The IAAE Life Sciences Advisory Board (LSAB), formed in 2017, is made up of industry professionals from top companies in Pharma/Biopharma, Medical Devices, and other health regulated manufacturers to support an ecosystem of likeminded individuals with a desire to see the industry improve as a whole. Our board members help inform new course content and the overall strategy of IAAE in order to solve a problem (workforce development and capability building) too big for any one company or partner to solve alone. Our easy-to-use online Learning Management System (LMS) is where you can access your IAAE courses. You will receive access within 24 hours after your purchase.
