IAAE® has a clear vision for the future of education and training on automation in the life sciences industry. They are actively working with universities, consortia, and life sciences companies to make things happen. As a member of the Life Sciences Advisory Board, I’m always challenged to help find ways to bring relevant automation education to university students, as well as online and hands-on training to industry professionals. There’s a real need for life sciences companies to be able to hire new graduates with the right skills and/or provide external training. The current model of on-the-job training isn’t efficient for anyone.

Having this course would close what I see as a key gap in understanding automation and design within our industry (and perhaps others). What we often see here is manufacturing getting frustrated by automation that does not “help”, and automation engineers getting frustrated by manufacturing associates who “just don’t execute as designed”. I think this course will go a long way to bridge this gap in understanding.”

The IAAE Life Sciences Advisory Board (LSAB), formed in 2017, is made up of industry professionals from top companies in Pharma/Biopharma, Medical Devices, and other health regulated manufacturers to support an ecosystem of likeminded individuals with a desire to see the industry improve as a whole. Our board members help inform new course content and the overall strategy of IAAE in order to solve a problem (workforce development and capability building) too big for any one company or partner to solve alone. Our easy-to-use online Learning Management System (LMS) is where you can access your IAAE courses. You will receive access within 24 hours after your purchase.

If you are an organization, you also have the choice of hosting our learning content on your internal LMS if you prefer. Feel free to reach out to an IAAE team member to learn more.

IAAE seeks to credential 10,000 learners globally, and to engage 10 of the top 20 companies in each regulated health industry, by the end of 2035.
